Join Quirk Gallery, A Girl Named Leney, and Willow Knows for a trunk show event focused on local craft, slow living, high design, and quality goods.
Artist, traveler, and photographer, Leney Breeden designs knitwear and clothing collections for her eponymous brand, A Girl Named Leney. Built from an initial passion for fiber and knitting, Leney has narrowed her focus on slow, mindful, and intentional living. By personally sourcing wool from farms she’s built relationships with, spinning yarn herself, and experimenting with natural dye techniques, Leney creates one-of-a-kind pieces that are individual works of art. Each carries with it a story that has many chapters, each of which is part of the artist and part of her journey.
Willow Knows is the textile and clothing label of artist and designer, Jessica Lee. Jess’s practice explores an intuitive, experimental way of working that creates one-of-a-kind pieces for the body, home, and outdoor spaces. Using only silk fibers, natural and foraged dyes, and an individual, alternative approach in the design process, each unique Willow Knows piece embraces the birthing of distinct characteristics and the beauty of imperfection.
