Quirk is thrilled to welcome back our good friends from Studio Two Three. This special trunk show event will feature handmade pieces by Studio Two Three’s collective of artists as well as originial works from Ashley Hawkins, Alyssa Salomon, Megan Nolde, Kat Lyons, and Cody Landrum.
Please join us at Quirk Gallery during April’s First Friday Art Walk to meet the artists, check out the work available for sale, and chat with representatives from S23 to find out what resources, classes, studio space, and other opportunities are available at Richmond’s favorite print shop.
“Studio Two Three drives innovation in printmaking and photography through Artist Residency, Education and Exhibitions. S23 is Central Virginia’s only community printmaking workshop. We provide established and aspiring artists and craftspeople with studio facilities, education, artist residency, and open doors. We offer 24/7 access to a printmaking shop, darkroom, digital lab, communal workspace, and individual studios to support production, creative practice, and discourse. We are professionals, amateurs, teachers and students.
S23 is an energizing incubator for the current generation and the next one, keeping our creative community robust and evolving, producing the goods and services that move through our city’s galleries, businesses, schools, festivals, homes, and life.”
